The following courses will be held:
Plasticizing course: v. Sørren Devach (DK).
Based on the Steiner School curriculum, we will work with suggestions for age-
appropriate tasks in teaching from 1st to 12th grade. In addition, it is possible within the
framework to test work suggestions for the plastification team, as well as for the
individual to follow individual needs that may arise along the way. We will talk about our
experiences of the work and try to formulate what effects the craft and artistic
aspects of the process have on us. During the course, there will be ample opportunity
to share different individual experiences about clay work and teaching. Material costs:
100 DKK.
Ayurvedic cooking by Peter Sarring (N)
The course is aimed at school canteens and the many kindergartens and
after-school programs that prepare food for the children every day. We would like to
focus on this part of the pedagogical area. School gardens and kitchens show the way
from farm to table and fortunately, school gardens are an integral part of school
life in many places. Food and bread are often described as good craftsmanship.
Hence this combination of different good craftsmanship.
Vegetarian cooking with inspiration and spices from Indian cuisine to Danish folk
cuisine. The food is prepared with bitter, sour, strong and sweet flavors. Food will be
prepared for everyone at the event.
Needlework by Anne-Dorthe Grigaff (DK)
Ecoprint, plant dyeing and embroidery. By popular request from the students in
February 2025, we will work with dyeing and printing on materials, which we will then
add embroidery for a deeper effect. We will delve into the alchemy of plant dyes and
test both silk, wool, linen and cotton. Finally, we will transform the material into
a useful object, such as a bag or something else.
Material costs: 200-300 DKK.
Joint Eurythmy by Elisabeth Halkier-Nielsen (DK).

Shaping in iron v. Einar Svavarsson (S)
In this year’s blacksmithing group, we will work with things that we can use in everyday life.
We will integrate different forging techniques into the work, for example, stamping, stretching
and artistic processing of the material.
Do you have special requests, or are you planning to do something with a class? There is room for
that.
Material costs: approximately 500 DKK.
Bookbinding by Gert Hansen and Hanne Mahler (DK)
The history of bookbinding dates back to the codex form around the 5th century, which
replaced the old papyrus and parchment scrolls. From the 7th century, magnificent
bindings, known as klenodiebinds, became popular in Italy, while the art of printing from the mid-15th
century created an increasing need for binding.
Over time, countless types of binders have been developed with both large and small differences.
We will work with two Danish binder types. Rubow binder and Millimeter binder, both developed
by Henrik Park. Material costs: approx. 300 DKK.
Metal casting v. Felo Hettich (NL)
The theme this year is: The art of teaching students at different grade levels.
The focus will be on how we can carry out metal casting at different grade levels, how
we can organize the work, how I find the materials and how I can help the students design.
We will be casting with bronze, tin and silver in plaster, foundry sand, sepia and MDF.
I look forward to the collaboration. Material costs: 300-600 DKK.
